AppHunter helps users generate and research software and mobile app ideas. This policy explains what information AppHunter processes and why.

Information we process

When you create an account, we process your email address, display name, authentication identifiers, saved ideas, validation history, feedback, and support messages. We also receive basic technical information such as app version, device operating system, crash diagnostics, and security signals.

How we use information

We use information to provide authentication, generate and validate ideas, maintain credits and subscriptions, synchronize saved content, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases

Depending on the purpose, we process personal data because it is necessary to perform our contract with you, to comply with a legal obligation, for our legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or because you have given consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Third-party services

AppHunter uses Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Crashlytics, Stripe, PostHog, Google Gemini models, and Perplexity models. These services process data only as needed to provide their respective functions and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. AppHunter does not use advertising providers or targeted advertising.

AI-generated content

Prompts and idea details may be sent to AI providers to produce results. Do not submit passwords, payment details, confidential business information, or personal data that is not needed for the request.

AppHunter does not use your prompts or saved ideas to train a provider’s general-purpose model unless this is separately disclosed and legally permitted. We may retain inputs and outputs to provide your history, prevent abuse, resolve support issues, and improve the service.

Retention and deletion

We retain account data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion by emailing apninesupport@gmail.com. Some billing or security records may be retained where required by law.

Your GDPR rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal data; object to processing; receive data you provided in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. International transfers and complaints

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we use an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, together with any supplementary measures required by applicable law. You may complain to the data-protection supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or alleged infringement.

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use essential cookies or similar technologies to keep the service secure and functioning. If we use non-essential analytics, advertising, or preference technologies, we will provide the notices and consent choices required by applicable law.

Children

The service is intended for users aged 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls and service-provider safeguards. No internet service is completely secure. Account and saved-content data is retained while needed to provide the service or until deletion is requested. Billing, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be retained for the period required by applicable law.
